David McCuan first started coming to Sonoma Valley as a Boy’s Club kid from Richmond to enjoy the Square and the Valley, including terrific day hikes at Sugarloaf and swimming at Morton’s Warm Springs. He continues to enjoy this magnificent Valley and all there is to offer with its richness of fine wine, great food, and even more amazing friends and family. In his Day Job, David works as a Professor of Political Science at Sonoma State University. You will find his analysis and scholarly interests ranging from American politics to international relations to the latest developments in campaigns and elections.
An avid sports fan, foodie, and wine lover, David lives on a cattle ranch in Tomales and continues to travel the world in search of new adventures. He is a first-generation college student, a native of the East Bay, and is the proud parent of two great adults.
